Kennedy Wilson began playing volleyball at age 16, the same year he was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. He started his collegiate career at Pierce College before returning to Pennsylvania and competing with the club program at Kutztown University, where he served as club president for two years. During his time there, the team qualified for the USA Volleyball Collegiate Club Nationals three times and won their bracket twice. After graduating, Kennedy began coaching as the JV Head Coach and Varsity Assistant at Saucon Valley High School while also coaching a Boys 17s club team. Since relocating to Ohio, he has coached for the past five years with Maverick Volleyball Club, BossCLE Volleyball Club, and currently Academy Volleyball Cleveland (AVC), while also serving as the Varsity Assistant Coach at Lutheran West High School. Outside of coaching, Kennedy works full-time as an Anti-Money Laundering Analyst and continues to compete in local leagues and adult volleyball tournaments.
