AVC Volleyball Alumni, Arielle (Ari) Love launches a social entrepreneurial venture and joins us a new sponsor to help offset the cost of playing travel volleyball. 

Ari Love, former teammate of Logistics & Operations Coordinator, Kara Schiffer and coached by Director, Paul Schiffer, was part of the inaugural group of National Teams at AVC back in 2010. Love credits her time at AVC and playing club volleyball as being an invaluable catalyst for future success, but she is no stranger to the financial burden that travel sports can be on families.

After her time at AVC, Love continued her volleyball career on a full-ride scholarship at Duquesne University where in 4 years she was a Division I All- American, led the team to its first ever NCAA Tournament appearance, and earned both a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Marketing, and an M.B.A. in Sustainable Business Practices. During her time at Duquesne, she also had the opportunity to travel to China for a capstone global economics project in 2015.

At the conclusion of her collegiate career, Love went on to travel across the globe playing international volleyball in: London, the Philippines, and Cyprus before she suffered a career-ending hip injury, forcing her to retire.  Love now resides in Dallas, TX where she is a successful enterprise IT solutions executive.
