Hayden joined the AVC coaching staff in 2024 as the head coach of 18 Blue. He played club for three years at Case Western Reserve University, where he was vice president for the 2022-2023 school year and president in 2023-2024. During his time with the club, they won the 2022 NCVF DII silver championship, and the 2024 ECVA DII championship. He has also played in the VLA since 2023, previously representing the Huron River Hitmen, and currently as a member of the Cleveland Kong.
Along with his time at AVC, Hayden served as an assistant coach for the new Shaker Heights boys’ volleyball team in 2023 and currently helps out with the CWRU women’s NCAA team. His goal in coaching is not only to help his players grow in their volleyball skills, but also in their love of the game.
