Mike joined AVC in 2023 as an assistant coach for 10 Red and is the current head coach for 11 Red the 2025 season.
With over 20 years of experience in volleyball coaching (high school, CYO and club volleyball), Mike has dedicated his coaching career to developing young athletes both on and off the court. Known for their holistic approach, Mike emphasizes not only the physical aspects of the game but also the mental and strategic elements that are crucial for success.
Mike’s coaching philosophy centers around teaching players the sportsmanship, the mental game and helping them understand the “why” behind every drill, play, and strategy. By fostering a deep understanding of the game’s intricacies, Mike empowers athletes to make smarter decisions, stay focused under pressure, and continuously improve their performance.

Mike is married with 3 daughters who are all involved in volleyball.
