Sophia is excited to join the AVC coaching staff for the 2023-24 season! Originally from Texas, Sophia played club volleyball for Texas Performance before going on to play Division 1 volleyball. She started her college career at University of Texas at El Paso before transferring to University of Maryland Eastern Shore. While in school, she had the privilege of serving as the team captain for all four years of her playing career. Sophia graduated from UMES, earning all-academic conference honors and graduating with a degree in Biochemistry and 4.0 GPA. Currently, Sophia working as the Graduate Assistant for the Women’s volleyball team at Baldwin Wallace University.
