Brian joined AVC as an assistant coach in 2020. He played volleyball collegiately in his hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina at Queens University of Charlotte where he became the first ever student-athlete committed to the men’s volleyball program. During his time at Queens, Brian totaled over 40 matches played & participated in tournaments such as the 2020 Outrigger Hotels & Resorts Invitational in Honolulu, HI. Prior to college, Brian grew up learning the game of volleyball overseas in Europe & South East Asia for over 6 years. He played four years of varsity volleyball and was a part of leading his team to 3 IASAS (Interscholastic Association of Southeast Asian Schools) medals including two gold. Having been a student of the game for over ten years now, Brian wants to pass on his knowledge and understanding of volleyball to other competitors looking to succeed at the highest level. Outside of coaching, Brian enjoys watching the Guardians win and spending time with his energetic Australian Shepherd, Peaches.
